Coming on October 1st, 2016: West Side Urban Farm Frolic. Learn from your neighbors who are observing sustainable practices right in their own backyards. Yes! You can keep small livestock and chickens in the City of Dallas. You can feed your family from the fruits (and vegetables) of your labor. Harvesting, canning, knitting and sewing are valuable skills to learn.

Visit several smallscale urban farms on the west side of Dallas and gather ideas to apply to your own life. Watch for demonstrations and sales of participants products along the way. Attend informative classes to learn how you can live a more sustainable life!

Proceeds from the Farm Frolic benefit GROW North Texas.
GROW North Texas seeks to connect North Texans to food, farms, and community in order to create a sustainable, secure regional food system that enriches the land, encourages economic opportunity through food and agriculture, and supports equitable access to healthy, nutritious food for all.
